Abandoned victorian mansion

This is a personal Unreal Engine 5 environment project — a complete remake of one of my older works, rebuilt from scratch with a modern, production-ready workflow. The goal wasn’t only a visual upgrade, but a full pipeline rethink: modularity, consistency, scalability, and clean scene assembly for both gameplay and cinematic use.

The set is built as a modular Victorian interior that can be quickly assembled into rooms, corridors, and transitional spaces while keeping strong readability and a cohesive abandoned / aged art direction. I focused on a consistent material language across the entire environment — aged metals, dusty fabrics, worn wood, and tarnished finishes — and a variation-friendly setup using master materials and material instances for fast art direction changes. The assets are Nanite-ready and designed to work well with Lumen and modern post-processing, staying cinematic while still practical for interactive scenes.

Revisiting the original project helped me benchmark my progress and rebuild a stronger end-to-end environment pipeline, from modular planning and asset consistency to set dressing density and final presentation.
